Our u14B team narrowly lost to Letterkenny in their opening game of the season but produced what was probably the gut-siest display on a day when 3 games were played in Malachy's.

Seemingly out of the game in the third quarter, the Star boys came storming back in the last to make it just a two-point game with less than a minute to go. 

Letterkenny, however, got the breaks they needed in the final half minute and two more baskets to give them a 6-point margin.
